Marisa Moss
Graduate Student
Marisa is originally from Tennessee and traveled to Colorado to attend the Colorado School of Mines where she received her BS in Chemical and Biological Engineering. She stayed in Golden, CO to work as an intern in the Separations and Polymer Science Group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory for one year before she started a graduate program at RPI in Troy, NY. Even though she is a student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, the ebbs and flows of graduate school happily landed her in Prof. Shelley's lab where she now works with mass spectrometry. Marisa's research is to extend the detectability of perfluoroalkyl substances with mass spectrometry!
