Amanda O'Neil
Undergraduate Intern
Amanda O'Neil is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Physics at Hudson Valley Community College. She is originally from a village in central New York called Clinton. Amanda is passionate about astrophysics, but has a love for all natural sciences.
In 2023, Amanda participated in a research internship at the University at Albany under Dr. Stephen D. Butz during which she analyzed archeological artifacts using XRF. Now, as part of the NSF's Innovation in Two-Year College (ITYC) program, she is completing a research internship at RPI with the Shelley Lab.
